Aidan Redmond recently completed filming on Brian Cox’s feature directorial debut, Glenrothan, opposite Alan Cumming, Shirley Henderson and Brian Cox. Earlier this year he wrapped the role of John Conway, opposite Josh O’Connor and Paul Mescal, in The History of Sound, directed by Oliver Hermanus. Both films are set for a 2025 release.
Aidan made his Broadway debut taking over the role of Doctor McSharry, opposite Daniel Radcliffe, in The Cripple of Inishmaan, directed by Michael Grandage. He played opposite Stephen Rea and Bríd Brennan in the American première of Sam Shepard’s final play, A Particle of Dread — Oedipus Variations, directed by Nancy Meckler.
Aidan was educated at the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin and also studied at The Central School of Speech and Drama, London and The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, New York.
He lives in New York and Ireland.
