Aidan Redmond

Aidan Red­mond recently com­pleted film­ing on Brian Cox’s fea­ture direc­to­r­ial debut, Glen­rothan, oppo­site Alan Cum­ming, Shirley Hen­der­son and Brian Cox. Ear­lier this year he wrapped the role of John Con­way, oppo­site Josh O’Connor and Paul Mescal, in The His­tory of Sound, directed by Oliver Her­manus. Both films are set for a 2025 release.

Aidan made his Broad­way debut tak­ing over the role of Doc­tor McSharry, oppo­site Daniel Rad­cliffe, in The Crip­ple of Inish­maan, directed by Michael Grandage. He played oppo­site Stephen Rea and Bríd Bren­nan in the Amer­i­can pre­mière of Sam Shepard’s final play, A Par­ti­cle of Dread — Oedi­pus Vari­a­tions, directed by Nancy Meckler.

Aidan was edu­cated at the Samuel Beck­ett Cen­tre, Trin­ity Col­lege Dublin and also stud­ied at The Cen­tral School of Speech and Drama, Lon­don and The Lee Stras­berg The­atre Insti­tute, New York.

He lives in New York and Ireland.
